Hello. I bought my 2020 OR a few months back. It came to me with a magnaflow exhaust, which is annoyingly loud. Like a buzz saw in the worst way possible.

Curious what my options might be? Buy a factory setup? Somehow change a part of the system?

‘I’m all for a good sounding system but this is stupid loud on the highway especially.

    TIA

I ended up throwing a flowmaster super 50 on my truck and it got pretty quiet can only really hear it when I'm on the gas. According to their chart it's like the 3 quietest.

Just my opinion but nothing sounds as bad as a 4, or 6 cylinder with these louder aftermarket exhaust's. I think the trd muffler sounds as good as anything. The regular stock system is good also.

It’s awful. I have tinnitus and 5 hours of highway driving is brutal. Can’t understand what possessed the original owner to put this system on. Needs to go asap.

If you’re local I can give you my OEM exhaust free but it’s for a long bed

Can relate lol. Have the magnaflow catback on my 2.7 mt, I also cut the tailpipe off, dumped it at the rear axle with a black tip. and i have to feed it now to go anywhere due to lift, load e mts, sliders armor etc. its loud on the highway for sure! Its not my DD anymore though so im ok with it

I just installed a Flowmaster Delta 50 Monday. Sounds good, def audible when smashing the pedal but quiet enough NOT to be annoying, a nice hum.

Just a quick followup. I realized I could change just my muffler. The one I had was a Flowmaster FX. I changed it to a magnaflow and problem solved. Stay away from the FX. It's stupid loud and also makes the exhaust sound super drone-ie.

2nd on the trd pro exhaust. A little louder than stock and you don’t have the lame screw on exhaust tip that a lot of people run and looks ridiculous

I have that FM Super 50 on my truck with the dual exits. Not too loud and a deep tone at 3/4 pedal. I think it has mellowed over time too. or I am getting hard of hearing.

An EJ25 with UEL headers sounds super sweet, IMO of course.

I see quite a few stock exhausts for sale, I myself had one posted but there are not to many people looking for a stock set-up, most if not all are headed in the opposite direction. I ended up posting mine for free and was snatched up in no time. Just glad it went to good use. Long story short, you may find that people trying to sell their stock set-ups just might give it to you so it’s out of their hair.
No harm in asking is all.
What’s funny is that I see quite a few stock set-ups being sold for what TRD cat-backs run:crazy:
