    Yeah the past truck committee bought a straight rescue at the lowest bid (Spartan, Rescue One). It's been nothing but problems. We need to replace a 98 engine and thought kill two birds with one stone with a rescue engine. We don't need a heavy rescue. They took out the passing lane on our stretch of route 100 so ever since then we really only ever get minor entrapment. And besides that our highest level of rescue training is VRO. Chester County has a rescue task force with guys trained in high/low angle, trench, ag, usar, etc... and one of the responding depts is right down the road.

    2021 V8. Yeah she has a drinking problem. 15 on the cold months, 16 to 17 warm months. Have not had her on a trip yet. My Tacoma was consistently 21 22 mpg easy.

    We’ve run a rescue pumper and pumper sorta rescue for a while now. Solid combination. Also smart move on removing the duplication of equipment and scale back to meet what you guys are trained to.
