What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

Having a weird issue with my auto shifter. When I put it in park, I have to give it a second bump for it to click in place. Anyone got ideas on why that would be?

Good to know. Think I've ruled out wheel bearing at this point which is reassuring. Now I know what kind of sound to expect in the event of a wheel bearing going out.

It comes and goes, but typically shows up at slower speeds so it's likely it's a rock or something in the brakes like what you're saying.

 

Ran Hells Revenge today, truck did great.

 

Door checks on the remaining 2 doors and installed the other metal door handle.

It was dusty as hell behind the door panels

 

I need to do my door checks one of these days. Having my doors constantly close on my legs or back gets old

 

How terrible was the wind

 

The 3rd door was the smoothest, I drilled both tack welds without drilling through the second plate and it popped apart on its own. The other 3 needed encouraged with a hammer
