I think that your best bet will be to call Accutune directly this morning. We carry Fox stuff here at Hotshot, but I know that they carry stuff at a much more granular level than the majority of us. Your next place that I would call up might be Downsouth Motorsports.

Thanks, tried both of those and no luck, guess I’m waiting 12-24 weeks to put my stupid truck back together.

what is wrong with your resi? ID scored?

Kartek "should" have parts in stock.

If you have the tools and knowhow you can replace just the can to save some money if your DSC is still in good shape.

    https://www.kartek.com/parts/fox-sh...e-only-clip-one-side-threaded-other-side.html

edit: Do you need just the DSC, no resi can? I have some of those in stock.

For anyone with a light truck, 2.5 DSC's, and 600lb front springs, need some advice.

I have both low speed and high speed backed out (full counter clockwise). Low speed feels perfect (can probably go a couple clicks in), high speed can still be a little harsh. (800 miles on setup, still need to do final ride height adjustments). Rear end is perfect, fully backed out both low and high speed..

Are your shocks tuned or off the shelf?

They are tuned. Truck definitely rides better than it did before, I just feel like there's some further optimization that can happen as there's a big difference between low speed bumps and high speed bumps. I might just need to lower the truck a half inch or so. Or could be that the low speed is set a little too soft causing the high speed to feel stiffer than it really is.

What tires and PSI are you running?

    265-70-17 SL tires with 32psi.

Going 285/75/17 whenever my wheels show up, but they will be LT/Cload tires. So whatever I gain in ride quality from increased sidewall might be offset by extra ply's.

Coming from Eibach coilovers with 14" 600lb springs.

I'm running your same set up & have been pretty happy with it, tire pressure is a great point, in the winter I'm mostly hwy driving I run 32, in the summer I do alot high speed dirt and lower pressure to 15-18

Yup mostly seeing just where people are running their adjusters so I can play around and see. Definitely happy with it, but if I could get 10% better or so it would be perfect. I will lower it a little bit in the next week or two to see how that changes things.

Doesn't seem like anything out of the ordinary... I've got 265/75/16 10ply KO2s running about 30PSI with my 620lb eibachs and find the ride nice. That's with 5100s too, which in theory should be stiffer than yours dialed down.

I assume you've tried turning up the high speed compression to see if that makes a difference? I'm still waiting on my adjustable fronts from Elka but on the rear I notice that the ride can sometimes be improved by increasing the high speed compression a bit.

The rears are pretty much the only thing that we have to dial in on if someone is running with a stock bumper up front. The fronts usually have everything backed off for comfort, but the rears need some tuning to avoid that excessive chatter as you described.

Does high speed feel harsh on road, or offroad/aired down? It's kinda give and take. Softer high speed on road, would be too soft with tires aired down/bigger hits offroad which would put you into the bumpstop. Firm high speed on road with tires aired up, is usually pretty good offroad once aired down.

Truck has only been on-road for now. I will take it down some fast gravel roads today before it gets washed. Truck lives 99% of it's life on-road. And by no means is the high speed harsh, it just feels quite a bit different than the low speed. Which is why I'm thinking to tighten up the low speed a little bit so there's not such a huge gap.

I have all Fox suspension on my mountain bike, it took me a long to get a tune between the front and rear that worked for almost everything perfectly. Guessing I'm just too anal and the truck will be the same way.

I will say the rear feels absolutely mint. This is with the rear Tundra shocks, Icon RXT's at Option 1, and Archive hangers with the cross brace.

I had the same issue running the exact same front setup. Low speed was great, high speed a bit jarring. I had the stock Fox coilovers with no tune. Switched to Kings from Accutune and solved the harsh high speed feeling. Also, added a steel skid plate which actually made a huge difference, the weight between the coilovers helps the truck stays planted over bumps.

Purchased a longer 5/16 punch from ebay. I highly recommend getting one it made adjusting the coilovers on the truck easy peasy didn't even have to take the tire off. As you can see the harbor freight one is much shorter.
    20220421_193245.jpg

And as you can see here. The longer punch sticks out enough to adjust without the tire getting in the way. The truck was of course lifted up so coilovers weren't bearing any weight.
