Oh believe me, I know... Had a main plumbing stack disaster earlier in the week that I need to fix once and for all. I'd much rather be biking but I cannot repeat what happened earlier.

@Sloth I’ve got a Smittybuilt also, lucky find on CL. It seems to be holding up fine, any complaints I may have would be more with RTTs than this particular tent. I’m not sure how old it is, no vestibule or awnings yet. I could use a mattress upgrade, original foam is pretty thin/soft. It spends most of its time hanging from the garage ceiling, but It keeps my kids asking to go camping and biking!

I’ll be going out tomorrow (Saturday) bright and early and Sunday regardless (will try and plan a ride with @Pugga on Sunday). If we can’t make a ride work, I can send a PM to meet up if you’re down!

Well if you guys want to go on Sunday and Mike @Pugga wants to grab me, I'd be up for whenever. Otherwise I have to fix my truck before I can go.

I'm up for a slow and short ride Sunday morning. If y'all go for a full day I can join for a first part. I'm in shape as long as I get to define the shape. :|

Are you still in Bellingham where I met you before?
My only concern would be laying your fancy new bike down in the bed. I only have one of those thru-axle fork mounts for the bed. I drive right past that place in Bellingham on my way to WHD.

Is it TA or QR? I have like 7 QR mounts somehow that I've amassed I can give.

I’m assuming his new bike is thru axle. I have a few QR mounts but just about any decent new mtb bike is going to be thru axle.

Would you be taking the truck? If so we would figure it out. I'm not worried about that.

Yes, there is plenty of room, but I do not have a way to stand it up. It could be as simple as using a moving blanket, just throwing it out there to make sure we’re on the same page

I have a moving blanket and I have used it to cover the tailgate and stand bikes up with the tire hanging out. It works great!

I'm up for whenever, and slow is great with me. I'm in the same kind of "shape" as you are describing!

Yes, still in Bellingham and yes my bike is thru-axle.

If we go to west hill dam, there are two “sides” to it. Normally we do the full run and it ends up around 12 miles, but it’s pretty easy to do 6 miles and be at a good point to dip out to the cars before heading over to the other side.

We can definitely run a social pace so everyone can enjoy - even if you want to push hard on a trail, it’s easy to stop at the end and wait for the group to catch up before starting the next

Yeah, can’t do that on mine though with the cap. Will have to lay it down in the bed because of the cap and the bed slide. We can sort it out, just didn’t know if you wouldn’t want to do that with a new bike.

So let’s plan on 1:00 PM at West Hill Dam. We are going to do a good loop and have the option to break off at 6 miles

I can’t keep the glass open while I drive (I can, but it’s just asking to break it).

    We’ll get the bike there.
