Anyone know what this sticker means?

It just caught my attention. When I bought the truck with 27k miles on it I was under the impression, and still an, that there were not modifications done to it. It has a transmission cooler and trailer hookup so it came with the tow package.

I'm going to take a wild guess and say it's either

A) load capacity reduction sticker in the driver's door (normal)

Or

B)TSB record sticker under the hood (also normal)

Two drinks if it's A, half a drink if it's B

I had one of those on my truck. I removed it.

 

Load capacity restored. Dealers hate this one trick!

 

I have an aftermarket suspension (2.5" to 3" lift). Plus, the decal was put on crooked and with my OCD, that wont fly.

 

Fixed it.

Means the dealer/distributer (aka "port installed") put on running boards or some such before the truck was sold as new.

 

Yup. Dealer, or possibly the factory, added something weighing 58 pounds to your truck, so they
have to alert you to the reduced payload capability.

 

I'ma guess OP's truck has the OEM trifold toneau cover and predator steps.

 

That sticker goes on when port-installed accessories are added.

 

My sticker says 15Lbs reduced. Always thought it was the TRD skid plate that was added.

 

Floor mats are also a port installed add-on, believe it or not. If it's around 10 pounds, it's usually that.

The payload reduction is for accessories installed by the distributor (i.e. at the port or rail terminal):

 

Its a required sticker for the dealers to apply if they added anything that didn't come on the vehicle as ordered equipment....like floor mats, bed liners, running boards, etc. I always that that off.
