That’s how it is here in Slo county. ADA compliant or else. Funny thing, not all the towns have sidewalks.

There’s a lot of wheelchair ramps going in on intersections in Monterey as well. There are still some areas that don’t have sidewalks in Pacific Grove such as George Washington Park.

Got it off Etsy. I’ve been dealing with a veteran Steve for over 2 years. He’s got it all. I gave measurements and he created for me. This was trial an error. The first one was 3/4” or so off. He tweak everything. And I just received and installed Saturday. I might go for round 3. It may not perfect but I can live with it. I lined everything up best I seen fit and installed. He mentioned that he was to get it perfect so he can list it. This is 751 vinyl. He also has 951. These are way better than 651, and for the body cast is the way to go. He does custom orders and get you what you want. Check it out link below, contact him for questions.

Haven't started it yet. Will find out in a couple hours when kiddo and I head out. Gonna roll into church rumblin lol!
Neighbor tried calling me at 0300 to tell me he heard something odd and saw a car pulling away from my truck and I knew exactly what had happened. I got it on video though so I can at least give that to PD. Can't get faces or plates but at least they have a view of the car.

I took advantage of the Toyota tire sale and got a set of BFG KO2's for my truck. Went with the "plus one" size (265/75/16) and they look and fit great. Definitely a firmer ride with the heavier E load rated tire, but I like it. And so far no real discernible impact to my gas mileage. But i will need a few more data points before I claim victory there as it is a heavier tire than the stock Goodyear kevlars I took off. IMG-20220422-WA0000.jpg

I went up to that size with some Falkens and lost 2-3 MPG. That was with a lead foot though, I had to learn to drive lighter.
    Totally worth it.

Did a black-out of all the exterior chrome and installed the letter inserts. Since it's a SR it was just the badging on the tailgate.

Nice work. This is definitely a PITA for something that should be easier. The video on Tacoma Lifestyle makes it look easy. I lost my 10mm socket into the abyss. My biggest advice for anyone doing this is to use Scotch tape to tape the nut to the socket when putting them back on. You're basically doing it blind putting it back on.

The trim piece makes it look better. I have a 21 and they wouldn't sell it to me when I called around to local dealers. Found it on Walmart. Should be here next week.

Looks great! I’d almost rather have no badging instead of chrome so it’s nice there are options!
