Just ran my ac for over an hour with a five to ten minute break in the middle...all on high. Just pulled the controls when I got home and the back of the unit and the wiring is mildly warm. Nothing that concerns me though. As a comparison, maybe as warm as a power supply for a cell phone charger that has been charging a dead phone for a while. You can definitely tell there is a good amount of juice flowing through there when running the ac, but nothing that would indicate a hazard.

Same with mine. Not hot but luke warm. I will advise to add some OX-Gard compound to the connectors on yours though. May prevent future problems with the connector.

I will definitely look into getting some of that. Is it available at the local hardware stores or chain auto parts stores?

Anyone found the terminals for this plug? Mine is the same type plug (but for the ign switch interruptor). A few of mine have deteriorated (not too much corrosion) but bad connections = burnt.
    Thanks

Aux back up lights, Bed lights, Re-located trailer plug, Good dooby, a.k.a. jumper cable mod, Heated seats, back up camera,
What you're trying to unlock, for all intent and purpose is similar to a barb on a fishing hook. When you push the terminal into the connector body, the barb drops down behind a ledge, and you can't pull it out.
Try a basting pin instead of a screwdriver.

    Good luck.
