Considering the All Toyota Truck brain trust hangs out in this thread, it will be hard to compare.

Fucking finger is sore from all the welding, now it's even more sore from using the drill non-stop hitting all the surface rust, and now even more from spraying primer

    Oh absolutely

But holding the trigger on a MIG gun for hours on end at both school and work really makes your hands cramp.

I need to get a MIG welder at home that allows a single depression of the switch to stay 'on'. My TIG welder has a feature where it stays on until I shut it off with the use of a hand switch.

I remember when my sister and I were little kids we dressed my Marine veteran grandfather up in drag makeup, lol. There are some really funny pics of it in our family albums

    Shit that looks convenient.

I need something to hold up my power tools. Been using my M12 stuff cause it's much lighter, but I have them under my bench.

I want them on the wall as well as my batteries and chargers.

Yeah they're one of those little $8 things that you pass by and think don't work but then you get one and think, "Why did I wait?"

Are you doing pegboard? I just ordered some metal pegboard to try after using the standard stuff for years, figured I'd get with the times, see how it is.

That was my plan, with high quality hooks.

But I may do away with the idea as I need to be realistic with what I often use and don't.

My drills and grinder are constant so those must go up.

My batteries as well as I have a few M18 (7) and M12 (3) and several chargers.

Gotcha. Its always a personal thing to set up bc of diff uses for everyone. That's why I've stayed away from those sort of pre-made storage sets. I actually went with some 7ft wooden bookcases that I painted white for my bulkier stuff. So everything is organized and the contrast of the white makes everything stand out and nothing blends in or gets lost in some corner, even if it's a single bit. A row of drills, then batteries/chargers, some of the bigger hand tools, etc etc. I can't wait to have a full size garage someday though.

Man, if I still had wood working tools, I would've cut up some wood for racks already.

And I agree with you on those "pre-made" storage ideas. It worked for the person that made it, but not for everyone.

"Oh look, you can put your wire cutters and drill here"...yeah no. I got my shit separated by application the same way I do my tool bags and small boxes.

Yeah exactly. And part of the whole thing for me is to not have to waste any time looking when I need something.
