2013 Tacoma No start

I have a 13 Tacoma 2.7L That ran fine. I stopped and put $20.00 gas and drove 37 miles to home and parked it. Got up next morning and it would just turn over. I checked the relays under hood and the fuses in cab. I do not hear the fuel pump kick on. I do not have a pressure tester so I disconnected the 2 lines that come from fuel pump. Can someone help me ?

 

Battery?

 

Battery is strong. Should battery be at a certain level ?

 

So you have no fuel there with the lines disconnected?
Something you can try is having an assistant smack the bottom of the tank while you crank the engine and see if it takes off, if it does you need a fuel pump.
If it doesn't check for power on Pin 5 for the COPN Relay with the key on, if it has power jump pins 3 & 5 and see if the pump runs, if no power check for power at the EFI Fuse (10A) with the key on.

Ok, still no start after checking EFI fuse. I jumped 3&5 pin on C/Open relay. I went ahead and changed fuel pump. Still nothing?

 

Do you have power at pin 5 of the COPN relay?
How did you change the fuel pump in 20 min?

 

I did test pin 5 and it does have power. Me and my son had the bed off already so it did not take long to swap it out.

 

Ah then check for power and ground at the pump while jumping the relay or cranking, a test light would be best or backprobe the connector with a needle with the pump plugged in so the circuit is loaded.

Went back through all the steps still no start. I heard about the air pump and valve may have something to do with it? I don’t know where else to start

 

Air pump shouldn't cause a no start to my knowledge.
Do you have power and ground at the fuel pump?
Is your check engine light on with the key on?

 

Yes check engine light is on with key on. Not sure if I have power to the pump I tried by disconnecting the lines in engine compartment and turning over and nothing coming from pump. I did check relays and fuses but no luck

 

Your gona have to get a multimeter or test light and see what your missing at the pump (Pin 4 Black/Red is fuel pump power & Pin 5 White/Black is fuel pump ground) and work your way back, without knowing that it's anyone's guess.
Since you have a 2.7l I'm assuming you don't have an immobilizer, if you do and this light is flashing with the key on you will need to diagnose that.

 

I have a2.7L I will get my meter and start checking

 

I was able to get a code reader to check see if any codes and the Secondary air pump was the only thing. We started checking from fuse box to fuel pump to see if we had any breaks will hopefully finish tomorrow after work.

 

UPDATE I found the red/black wire to fuel pump bad at the plug under the dash on driver side. All ok now.
