There is a good butcher in Edgefield, but it is a 45 min drive from me.

Interesting. I haven't had a lot of luck with Corley's. Maybe I am hitting them at the wrong day or time or something.

Geez man that’s crazy- I missed this. Glad you’re in the mend. Reach out if I can help somehow. And no, still not driving 4 hours to work on your truck

I'm hoping for more towards the end of the summer. my brother was just down from PA to help with preperation on me coming home from the hospital. (stair railings, etc) and expressed some interest on helping as well. along with my neighbor Caleb, across the street. If I can just get the front together, I can drive it. (not messing with the trans an t-case for a while).

Shit I can come down May 14th and knock everything out that you need to drive the thing. But if we are doing that lets go ahead and knock the whole thing out in a couple weekends and get it with 4wd no problem.

I installed the front diff. gtg. I still have to order the front ds but I believe the rear ds has to be cut
welded and balanced. never ran across a dc 4x4
    rear driveline.
have jacks, plenty of stands and a trans jack. air/tools. if I don't have it, my neighbor will.

thats why I say, atleast if the front is buttoned up, It can move under its own power and I can worry bout the trans/rear ds at some other point.

Yeah we can definitely do that. You keep looking for a rear DS or a place to get it made. If it needs to be made then we'll need to install the trans and tcase to get measurements and stuff.
