mine is 2008 prerunner without a shell but has lots of added oem updates like sport hood, 2012 sport blinker mirrors, 2011 hood, 2009 lower dash panel with switch panel, dc storage bins, came with buckets/ center console, TRD skid, TRD gas tank skid, TRD tow hook, 2016 black sun visors, etc etc etc and much more with almost 200k on it........I would be hard pressed and sad to have to take 30k for it. There's nothing to replace it with I would want short of last yr 2nd gen manual RC 4x4....2014 or was it 2015? or the unicorn 6spd 2012-2015 Xrunner...

Go to KBB.com and ask high private seller with miles, condition & options. You be better off selling the stuff that’s not in the book. Sorry to say because you paid $3k for a shell/camper you’re not going to get that on a resell… (Don’t buy the camper and get a refund on the deposit). Tell the camper dealer you are now selling the truck.
Just like I paid over $1,700 for two piece StopTech’s brakes there’s no way someone going to pay that for them if I was going to resell. Another thing is go to all the used car companies that are wanting to buy get prices from them then add $1k on top. They would completely detail & reconditioned then get high book. And if you’re towing stick with the Tundra. There are many reports on owner having issues with towing with the Tacoma something in the ECU. Research for yourself if you don’t believe me. I personally know two who would never buy another Tacoma because of towing issues. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I did. Got 4.88s because 5.12s were not available when ECGS did it. Running 285s and it cruises 75mph at about 27-2800 RPMs.

@radclerk1 thanks for posting that. I checked and that was the only 4x4 on the whole site. All the rest were 2wd and most were around 19-20k. Once I get my shell on there and I take my trips in May I’ll put it on craigslist in colorado. There are very few on Carfax as well. None the other day in the west.

Holy crap! Glad you got it! Never thought I’d see these going for over 30k with tax. That’s almost 10k over the original msrp!

Well, I have had them installed for a week, and they are so much better than the IronMan coilovers I had on my truck for almost 8 years (they are Bilstein 8112s)! I was a bit worried that they wouldn't work on a regular cab, as Bilstein does not list our size truck in the manual, but they ride really nice, and work perfectly!

Not a bad deal for only 40k miles. Still high though.

This is not that high...toyota wanted 16k for my 08 prerunner with 50k on it back in 2011.....i had trade in they gave me 12k for tho. That red one is actually good deal with wheels, tonneau and brush bar for that money and mileage and 4wd IMO....especially now days....only thing that would ruin that deal is if it was from rust belt and krusty underneath.

So here is an update on the camper shell. @Hayrider, I called the vendor on Monday of the A.R.E. Shell and he said my delivery date had moved back a month. I thought that was odd. So I called A.R.E. And the customer service person said I needed to get the purchase number from the vendor to ask questions about my shell. So I called the vendor again and he gave it to me. I call A.R.E. Again and ask if my shell had even been built. She said she couldn’t tell me that to call my vendor? I said no, you are the factory and I need to know. I was put on hold and in 3 minutes she came back and said, nope, not built yet. I told her i wanted to cancel the order and then called the vendor and told him I wanted my deposit back and he should cancel the order. I did get my deposit back so now I will sell the 12 after cleaning it up.
