Harbor Freight had their 500lb cargo carrier on sale last week so I bought one to have floating around just in case. Quickly realized I could put another wall mount receiver up and turn it into a shelf!

I’ve had my 1up rack wall mounted for sometime. Their RackStash mounts are by far the best.

Well, I did the thing this afternoon and got a Marlin 6. I think it’s going to be a great platform to start my bike journey!

Had a free day so decided to spend the night at Mulberry Gap for a ride and blue lining (fly fishing super small streams). It was a good day. Obligatory truck shots included. The unfortunate part is that the lower part of Bear Creek is now basically a pump track.

Nice build. Wish you the best of luck but I think you may be reaching by a bit with that asking, even for this market.

Dudes, finished my first 60 mile ride. My fucking crank came loose and fell off. Good thing a local bike shop was at this earth day festival. That was a good ride. What's everyone's go to recovery drink/food right after a ride?

I only rode 20 miles today, though it was mostly single track with about 1600’ of climbing. My post-ride recovery was fueled by a black bean burger with cheese, French fries and a 6.5% ABV blood orange cider. I feel pretty good now.

Beer, of course. And tacos, or burritos.

Had a great weekend camping at Thunder Rock and riding the Cohutta 100. Rode with a couple good friends, another served as camp cook which was invaluable, wives came along and worked as course marshals which was pretty neat as we got to see them along the first part of the route. Rode it with the intent of finishing together which we did. Checking this one off the list. Great day and even better overall weekend.

Pay no attention to the hand gesture. That was for a specific person that’s not here :D

    Nice

    Check yer bolts!

Beer and burritos is the best. But for actual recovery drinks I make my own. All you need is something with a 4:1 ratio of carbs to protein. I use a mix of Tang and vanilla protein powder. Tastes like a creamsicle.

No doubt, I’ve raced there a few times now and ridden there a bunch. That singletrack is some is the fastest, buffest, and tackiest around. Plenty wide but actually tough to pass on cuz everyone is hauling the mail especially through the brushy creek section.
