What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

That's cheating. You're supposed to do it all by hand with a wood maul.

 

Which ones did you get?

 

I put mine in the shed. I get home at 3pm and wife arrives about 5pm. I installed my TRD Skid from Prestige Toyota in NY before the wife got home.



"Was that there when you removed the air dam", wife asked? Yes it was, babe.

 

Yeah I think so. I got a set of BFG KO2'S for just under $900 bones out the door and Toyota throws in a 2 year road hazard warranty for free which many places charge extra for.

E-brake handle replacement. Had to widen out the inside for it to fit as well as whack it with a rubber mallet for it to fit, but it worked out!

 

How hard was it to remove the stock handbrake? Did you have to use a heat gun to remove it? Twist it loose?

 

Nope, shipped in 2 days, but fedex held it in Seattle for a while.

 

Pretty easy to just cut it off, the rubber handle's thin.
There was a ton of glue sticking to it so I'm glad I didn't spend too much time trying to yank the thing off

 

no idea what the second place is but man Crabtree falls is stunning

 

Saw a new Tacoma on the local lot in kind of a different configuration. Off Road with a blackout package. Has a sunroof and leather seats. Also has the nice TRD lift, pro grille, and TRD skid plate. But weirdly no fog lights. I'd hardly have to do a thing to this truck plus it's my fav color Lunar Rock. All for the bargain price of $46,314. A couple years ago this thing would've been maybe $38,000.

I just paid mine off a month ago so I need to stop thinking about buying this thing!
