    I talked to my immediate boss Friday about my unused vacation. I’m going to start taking some Fridays off and head to the cabin for some long weekends. I’m salaried so I wouldn’t get a payout for unused vacation. My boss said that since I am salary he’ll also be flexible with my hours….wink wink nudge nudge. It may be time for a career change.

    good to hear they're being reasonable with you there. i'd still start looking for something else right away.
    if you've been out of the game for a bit take advantage of your local job service/unemployment office now - they usually have folks available to help with resumes and stuff.
    a couple sites that can be helpful are indeed.com and glassdoor.com. you can make an account, post your resume, and get the word out that you're looking. companies can see you and you can see them. they all have profiles with employee reviews and stuff.

    I'm trying to wait until after mothers day before turning the A/C on. Tomorrow is the only day for the rest of the month that is supposed to be over 80* for the high so I might make it.:fingerscrossed:

    Sorry to hear all that. I will say my dad put his off when the surgery wasnot as advanced as it is today. He said he wished hadn't waited. He actually played golf again afterwards. If you're Docs are half as good as you've said, you should be in good hands.
