    Lol instatrucks.
Off road guys do not have all that stuff.
Actually the lighter the better off road.
Don't buy into the hype and remember....
There is nowhere in the continental US that you can get more than 25 miles from a paved road.
But, good for them that they have a hobby.

is that true or just made up? I’m honestly intrigued to know. I’ve never sat and thought about that.

I also like cleanliness in my “builds” so I’d rather all that stuff tucked away if having it at all.

Go onto google maps, find the most remote looking area in any state (except alaska) and zoom in, its really amazing how many paved roads there really are.

There is a left brain right brain debate that can be applied to a vehicle that has been up fitted for over landing.

It's true. There are maps. However some of the areas 25 miles away from a paved road might as well be on the moon. There are some rugged places that very few even hike.

sounds like y’all spend too much time on TW and not enough exploring in your taco. There are many places more than 25 miles from a paved road. Mansfield pier would be my first example to prove this wrong.

So do I; All I did was take some pictures of an overdone trail rig (that will likely never see a trail) in the parking lot of Cabela's, and it turned into an argument...

That's a horrible idea. What time?
Let's see your source. No straight line measurements. Point Sublime Trail, North Rim of the Grand Canyon. 21 miles from pavement and you can go much further. South Rim has several trailheads west of Grand Canyon Village that are accessible only through the national forest. One is almost 60 miles of roads, not straight lines in a map.

To be fair I wasn’t really going after you, I just quoted you for context & for going along with his ridiculous claim.

Is the screen name because he hasn't aired down his tires? Or was lowPSI already taken?

I believe you may be misunderstanding what the maps are showing. There is a convenient layer on Gaia for your argument that shows distance from roads, but it is as the crow flies. That’s pointless, unless your taco can fly, then please let us all in on the secret bc I’m sick of paying for gas and tires.
