True, I was surprised that makers was cheaper than the buffalo trace though. Makers used be a top shelf whiskey around here. It was just a few years ago when buffalo was $25 for a fifth and makers was $42

I guess there is a shortage of buffaloes

Buffalo Trace's reputation makes it increasingly hard to find and sellers are upcharging has been my experience.

What's the ratio where it stops being Cheerios with poop and becomes a poo bowl?

Day two of sorrow and sulking

My brother introduced me to this gem. They use buffalo trace. Surprisingly really good

dang, too bad i didnt check sooner, would have added a pic to the mix. Just made...a few buffalo trace old fashioneds (how do you write the plural of that lol). Now im a lil drunk doing house chores and un-winterizing my sailboat lol. I was so thrilled to get it out of storage i took one of my drinks up and sat in the cabin and started day dreaming of our first regatta lol.

We got another late april storm, and i got great face shots with a couple back country laps this morning, so i made some apres drinks lol.

Here buffalo trace is more than makers, but i got it cuz it was still on the cheaper side lol, like $28. all the other good looking stuff was so expensive lol

I miss when buffalo trace was in the $20 range. Ever since word got out that they make pappy it’s been harder to find.
My brother was telling me the first time he bought a bottle it was $18 lol he said he went buy 2 more after the first bottle

I just take a bunch of expiring fruit and toss it in a sack with some bread in the back of my toilet.

Ah yes - one of my favorite wines from the Uppa Tanka region, has a very earthy flavor with notes of blueberries and dingleberries.

Works for me. Sales are always welcome.

Also, bond funds approaching 20 year lows. Anyone interested in buying back in yet?

Ill go 10% into bonds again if they can get rates to 4%, but something tells me they won't get there.
