Completely serious question: anyone know anyone interested in a fully built overland rig? Looking to potentially off-road the Taco.

There’s a lot of labor and love in that taco.

 

My buddy has a cabin up in Luray. We went out there and had one hell of a weekend doing nothing at all. I need to get a camper shell and platform to sleep in and i think the GF would be down at that point to start taking some trips. Gotta have a shower she says

 

Do it… it’s a blast, especially durning the nice months!

 

Since she didn't define shower... Park in a puddle and have her stand behind you. It's all you from there.

 

Trust me, were working around it lol. Last weekend me and Dan went 4 days with only one bird bath and were good, but she is NOT having any of that! A camper shower set up would be easy enough to solve the issue but we have a few other variables in the way at the moment.

 

I believe I still have the plywood platform that sits just above the wheel wells for a long bed. It used to be @EatSleepTacos if I remember correctly. I never got around to using it. It's yours for free if you'd like to have it.

 

I may take you up on that actually. I need to work a few things out in the immediate but if you could hang on to that, it would be awesome. I'll definitely get up with you about that

 

Oh man, that was many moons ago. I think I gave it to Rob, and He must’ve given it to you? Im amazed it’s still around, that was made over 4 years ago.

 

Yeah, it's just been sitting in my shed since I acquired it.

I had it in my truck for no time at all before switching it up (classic Randy) so it’s honestly probably in pretty decent shape.

Any idea yet how much you'd be asking if you were to sell it?

 

I would love to get $30k, which i think is reasonable for the build, but its def not flawless so I am open to conversations for someone who is interested in the complete build and saves me from a potential part-out.
