Couple photos from the gathering today, good meeting everyone. Too many ideas now for upgrades, trying to exercise self control and not buy that GSI Pro stove...

I’d been waiting to buy that stove forever then I got tired of waiting and ended up with an Ikamper disco from the Kickstarter early bird :anonymous:

Oh no, you all can do whatever you want. I'm trying not to buy one for myself because ye olde bank account is already stressed out from the rest of my existing shopping list. It seems like a sweet stove.

Well shucks add that to the list of cool stuff I've never seen before and also kind of want too. I'm gonna need to donate plasma / give ZJs out behind the dumpster / sell a kidney at this rate...

The mistake I made was listening to the rhetoric... go to school they said. You'll make more money than your brother the machinist they said. Two Master's degrees later I make less than I did in 1987 as a mechanic... I want toys too, but gonna have to find a different way to get them. Clearly you guys have it figured out, because I have some serious toy envy...

So, as I am whining about money, anyone have feedback about Hammer Hangers? Hoping to get my Alcan springs ordered soon, and why not double the price... Do tell.

I just got mine a couple weeks ago. Tried it out a few times and I’m pretty happy with it so far.

I went to school for 4 years and was done. Lots of guys have tried to convince me to get a masters and I’m like nah

switching jobs every 2-5 years is the secret. It’s a pain but loyalty and tenure doesn’t pay or count for anything these days. Each switch I’ve made is 20-50% increase in salary. Job #4 now since I’ve graduated college and making almost 3x now.

Did they go with the cross over tube as well or just the hangers? I am pretty sure I can fab my own crossover, but why if no real gain...

Rear end is much more "planted" and handles a hell of a lot better.

I have a set installed also and I agree with @geekhouse23, the rear suspension just seems to work better. I currently do not have the cross tube because I still have the spare in stock location. Once I go to 35's I'll be installing that also.

Some employers now want to see 2-5 years at a job then a change on the resume. You're right Loyalty now only get you taken advantage of in a lot of situations. Weird times

The cross tube was the most noticeable change; after the stage III Deaver springs.

I figured tying it all together would make the largest improvement. Thanks for the confirmation!
