Who has flown on Delta Airlines

i was wondering how their service is, is it good?? how are the interiors of the planes in quality

 

If you are flying in the US then they are as good as any of the others. Now if you are flying overseas I would recommend AirFrance.

I have flown delta a few times for work. Seems good to me. But I usually take a future pill "Excedrin pm" so yeah...

 

Depends on time of day and type of plane. My various experiences with them were good - we took off on-time every time, the service was good, and we arrived and caught our connections without trouble. Be aware that Delta operates a hub-and-spoke airline so most flights involve a transfer, either in Salt Lake City, UT (for west coast flights) or Atlanta, GA (for east coast flights).

The few times I have flown, it was direct flight from Sacramento, Ca to Atlanta, Ga... 3 times now. Just get your tickets several weeks ahead of time.

 

Have you ever flown United? What about JetBlue or Frontier?

They are definitely not all the same. United does horribly on many fronts - customer service, flight quality, in-flight service, punctuality, and to top it all off, expensive!

Southwest on the other hand is a simple airline - straightforward, flights land then takeoff within 20-30 minutes. Their CS is better, prices lower and in-flight service more commendable. Add to that they are profitable, fill their planes and only have one type of jet (for now), the 737. With the AirTran deal, things will be slightly more complicated [for the worse].

 

I've flown United, Delta, Alaska, Southwest, plus a bunch of other smaller airlines... I fly a lot, and yes for the most part they are all the same...

 

Flew down to central america last year on delta every thing seemed nice, No complantes, and I am known to be picky.

Which airline is the one where you pick your own seat (other than first class I think) as soon as you get on the plane? I've only been on one of those flights once.

 

Yea I flew on one of those flights when I shipped out to bootcamp with a bunch of other lost souls, after that I never flew on one again. Cheap ass government.

 

Can't complain about Delta. I've always had good results when flying with them. Now Southwest,thats another story

I fly on a regular basis and prefer Delta. Once you have status with them they really take care of you.

 

I fly a bunch. Airlines are certainly NOT all the same. Customer service and comfort I've found Delta and Alaska Airlines are the best. Delta having hubs in Cincy, Atlanta, and SLC usually make connections pretty straight forward.

Frontier is actually pretty good price wise, and I enjoy thier service, but the scheduling can be a pain.

I won't fly United or American. Delays, lost luggage, rude service.

International is really the way to go. BA, AirFrance, Luftansa all blow any US airline away as far as customer service.

 

I've flown Delta a few times in the last year, only on flights on the east coast. All have been on time, and all were pleasant.

Avoid US Airways like the plague; Spirit is even worse (my knees were pressing against the seat in front of me the entire flight; never again).

I love Continental, but they can be more expensive sometimes.

 

X2, I've been on Delta and Southwest and I can say good things about both.
