    Dean's A/C dilemma got me to thinking, my kids on Saturday were talking about how hot it was outside and they were sweating.....it was 82°.

    Growing up we didn't have A/C in the house until I was 17, didn't have a car with it until 1987 when dad bought a new truck (I was 12). I remember he was baling hay one day that summer and I had the trailer hooked to that truck getting bales up by myself trying to beat the rain. When he got done baling he came and jumped in the truck and the first thing he did was turn the A/C off.

    His philosophy was it's hot outside, no point in going from hot to cold o_O

    We had box fans when I was growing up, no ceiling fans.


    We have become spoiled by A/C :amen:
