I just choose to avoid people as much as I can. Touristy places aren’t for me

 

Panic strikes as oil prices drop below $98 a barrel. What are we gonna do with lower fuel prices? Some of the news articles are funny reporting this as bad news.

 

At first I thought I was just being apathetic, but to be quite honest, stopping reading any news has made it much easier to focus on what I actually can improve and work on. I gave up news entirely in 2017, it was just so overwhelmingly depressing and I haven't had any regrets about that.

Throwback time, I remember Adam Carolla ranting about this on loveline back in the day when dumbasses would call in bragging their BFs had 3 jobs. He was saying once you hit your mid 20s, the amount of jobs you currently have is directly proportional to how big a loser you are. He was of course talking hourly, not you starting a side biz while working full time with the goal of living off what you created.

Flash forward to my SIL bragging about how her now 45yr old husband has 3 part time jobs, but makes good money because he has 2 BMWs.... Errerr ummmmmm......

 

Truth, evreytime I talk to my boomer in-laws they ask me what I think about XYZ on the news. My response is stop watching that shit and I don't care, they stare at me puzzled. Meanwhile their anxiety is through the roof due to issues they have no control over and are scared to leave the house because they fear gangs of people with swords are going to kill them, because the news told them...

I wouldn’t mind 2 part time professional jobs. More variety would be great. Otherwise, totally agreed.

Find you an old rear tractor rim, lot of time they rust out around the valve stem and get replaced and can be had for cheap. I covered ours with some old landscape bricks.
