I have heard slotted rotors will chew thru pads faster. But I dont know from experience.

I know this, but bitching about taxes like it's something new is why I shrugged.

Yeah, wasn't bitching...my point was why pay tax when you can find one from a private seller.

It took me 5 years to find a K5 with a camper so good luck with that.

It was really just a "wouldn't it be nice?"...100% wouldn't want a camper one, just a regular K5.

I need another vehicle like I need a hole in the head...I barely have room to park the ones I have, and I definitely don't want to be moving any more when we relocate in 12-18 mos.

Makes sense. I need one more vehicle. A running driving 3/4 ton suburban with a 454/4L80e so I can swap the whole thing into my blazer. I have room to park it in Flag while I get ready too! Let me know if you come across one haha.

GM upfitted the M1009 CUCV Blazer everywhere, except they left the 10-bolts. I bought an M1008 truck at the same govt auction I bought the M1009, swapped the axles (14FF/Dana 60) to the Blazer, pulled the 6.2/trans/tcase for a spare, and sold the roller for more than what I paid for it, including transport. Had to do a 12V conversion, too...that was fun.

Mine looked very similar to this when it was all done:
