Put plain and simple, was shooting a moisin nagant with old Russian surplus ammo. Last round was a dud. Waited 60 seconds and friend started to talk to me, didn't notice the dud wasn't extracted out of the chamber and loaded the magazine. Went to chamber the next round and the bullet tip struck the primer of the dud and it went off that time. Explosion happened and shot the bolt back so hard it fractured the stock and bent the extractor claw all the way back. Felt no pain in the begining, friend was in shock with what happened and started screaming that I'm bleeding. I didnt even realize my hand got bruised by the bolt and had gun powder burns all over. I immediately lit a cigarette and started to look for a first aid kit. The range I was at called an ambulance even though I wanted my friend to drop me off at a hospital. Once i was in the ambulance the pain set it. It felt numb as if someone pounded it with a hammer, and set it on fire. They tried to give me morphine but I settled for the good'ol Tylenol 3. Ended up at a hospital where they didn't have a surgeon who did surgery on hands so had to drive to another hospital and wait again. Then was told surgery is an option but he has a guy who cut his fingers off with a table saw to fix first. Waited too long so I left. I've been waiting since June for one of the 3 surgeons who my family doctor sent requisitions to, to answer back to book an appointment. Went to get an x ray today to check why i might have some occasional pain and to see if the fragments aren't moving or anything...lol

When the parking lot is full...I seriously want to kick myself for not getting into 4x4 sooner in my life!

@honkonbobo the Elka resi brackets use bolts on top and bottom of the frame. Might be a good solution for your Fox resis.

Rear shocks need a bushing change (or a garage-made reducer sleeve) to fit 2nd/3rd gen Tacos, but yeah good deal if you need stock replacement parts.

the world is our toilet, also curbs are just recommendations and not exactly "law"
    :cookiemonster:

oh, you mean i have to make 14 right turns and drive a 1km around in a parking lot to make a left on the street i want to get to a highway?

but directly infront of me, obstructing my path is a 1m wide curb island that, if i "accidently" dont see it and drive over it i can just... not do the above?

my ACLB sliders from my 2013 fit my 2021 ACLB just fine but the 3rd uses a few less bolts. there is a reinforcement plate added to the frame on one side (or maybe both - cant remember) of the 3rd gen that the 2nd gen didn't have but the slider frame plate spans it fine.

Modified the level of gas in the tank
Saw your truck at the meet...wanted to finally meet ya.

It was cold, and windy...we fvcked off

And everyone looks the same lol...except Peter, he's swarthy

We need name tags or something like My name is TeecoTaco so I can translate. Dood came up and said he's Steve (fvck, I THINK it was Steve) and my response was Hey Steve, now who are you really? Turns out he was @ontariotruckman (fvck I hope it's ontariotruckman, I suck with names)

Point is, warm weather meet. Who do we sacrifice to the gods of TEQ (yes, with a Q) to get the hang for while weather cuz it's a nice damn day?

Do we need a new elixir for the bi annual Ardbeg cleanups? Perhaps a bourbon? Woodford Reserve?

Maybe both? As with the first sacrificial bottle of Ardbeg donation, back when intravenous remediation to alcohol poisoning was a thing up there, please allow me to donate a bottle of Woodford Reserve to the May boondoggle. I will coordinate with Evgeny.

    That is all

Lol yep that's the bottom of the casing you got in there, can see the primer outline clear as day.

Surprised it's not causing inflammation on the muscles or tendons in your hand when you flex or move it (pain or interfering with your work will get you moved up the priority list)

Unless there is lead in there (even then sometimes that it not a worry, if Lead does not show up in your blood tests)

Doc is right in that it's nothing to worry about.

Your body will do one of 3 things,
    Build scar tissue around it,
Push it out (comes out in a big pustulating stinky pimple)
React to it and become inflamed/infected (doctors will definitely take it out then) (will feel very hot and painful where it is located)

IF left in there, remember that, if you have an MRI!
The brass is not magnetic but the primer casing is, and if there is part of the bullet casing, it is steel jacketed also.

I've got a lot of metal fragments in me,
Lol to the point I set off the airport metal detectors and get felt up every time I travel
Medical X ray techs always ask me "what the hell happened to you".
(I've got some stuck in the spine in my neck they check on every few years, and other areas where they check to make sure they are not moving around, lol)

Over 20-30 years a lot of it has pushed out naturally, but still no chance of me ever being able to have a MRI
A couple when they came to the surface it was just a corner with the larger part still embedded,
Had them cut out just in the doctors office with a local anaesthetic, looked like something you would see on Dr. Pimple popper,
the puss really stank bad. Yuck.

But I remember when my first son was young I use to stick fridge magnets on myself to mess with him. Lol poor kid
