Tailgate Handle

2012 Toyota Tacoma: Where to purchase a Tailgate handle only. with Still have Original Camera and Lock.

I could be wrong but OEM handles don’t come with locks. If I had to guess you have an aftermarket one. Either pace edwards or pop n lock.

 

^ He’s right, there’s no lock on the stock handle.

 

Hey I just want to say thank you very much for responding back to me to help me out with my problem with the tailgate door latch handle issue!!
Okay so if it doesn’t have a lock on a OEM part the lock actually fixed my truck key as well. Which I know they can key it to work with anything. So that means I have to buy a aftermarket part not a OEM ? Do you guys know where are the best places to buy this part if it’s aftermarket and not OEM? Once again talking about a 2012 Toyota Tacoma Tailgate latch handle Assembly.

 

Go to Amazon and look up pop & lock tailgate handles for your truck as that is what you probably have in your truck. You also don't have to rekey it. Once installed put your key in and twist and it is automatically keyed to your trucks key.

It will be nice to know my items will be safe and the back of my truck from now on when the lock It along with my Tonto cover I think that’s what you call it?
