I drove a 1996 L300 with the 4-cylidner turbodiesel and 4-speed automatic last February; The guy who imports them was all too happy to loan me both an L300 and an L400 for a day when I told him I had a blog of sorts for JDM vehicles. The L300 struggled to hit 70 MPH on the highway outside of Philly, but just the overall cool factor of that van pretty much cancelled out the lackluster acceleration.

kind of regret selling her and she was a diesel too!. I purchased it for a very good price back in 2019, around 8k all in with ttl-reg. Sold it for the same price a year later (it was sitting in my garage 99% of the time). A couple from Austin, TX purchased it and they wanted to convert it to an adventure wagon with solar panels.

I would have added a killer stereo system and kept it totally stock otherwise; How was it as a driver? Did the A/C work good? Was it comfortable?

It drove perfect, good mpg, ice cold dual A/C, (front and rear passenger controls), It also only had 62,000 km on the clock. Glenn (the guy that sold it to me) was cool, he brings motorcycles and jdm vehicles all the time. here's his website. http://www.texasjdm.com/

All his vehicles have clear Texas titles, should easily be able to register it almost anywhere in the US. When I was checking his inventory he had 8 mini trucks loaded up on a trailer, I asked him if they were for sale and he told me they were all sold to a guy from Michigan and he also mentioned that he can ship them anywhere.
