Damaged directly behind my rear door passenger side I’m wondering if the whole cab is to be replaced or if it can be pulled out and restored somehow.

A few additions to make me feel cool.
Worst case that area would be cut out and a replacement welded in. Pics would help. More than likely it will be pulled and bondo applied.

Oh shit! Well, definitely getting a rear door skin, bedside and yeah that can corner will be pulled or cutout and that section replaced. Find a good shop and good luck with the repair.

You will get a new door (take the interior door panel off to see if the crash bar is bent if is they have to replace it because it then becomes a liability issue for a futur crash if some one was to get hurt), bed side, they may put in for a cab corner? But no way I would change it. A lot of factory spot welds and seams would be opened up and rust down the road if not properly epoxied and undercoated. If I were doing that I would pull it to get the jamb and edge back then a relief cut on the face for the stretched metal and weld it up. How is the composite part of the bed?

Damn getting some mixed reply’s I’m just hoping that the body shop can fix it. I worry about the cab damage right there behind the door. I really hope it can be pulled and fixed.

That's relatively minor damage in the grand scheme of things. Any decent body shop won't have any problem repairing that.
