    Forgot to mention this; While getting off at an exit in the Morgantown area on Saturday, I noticed a car carrier passing me in the left lane. I had my window down, and I started motioning out the window for the driver to blast his horn; He did! I haven't felt that much childish glee in years!

    Okay, this probably about the coolest thing I've seen at a car show in years...

    1966 Pontiac Bonneville; Bought new by the Molesworth Funeral Home in Damascus, Marlyand. The town couldn't afford both a hearse and an ambulance at the time, so this car served as both and was in service well into the 1980s! The car is unrestored, totally original, and packing a 389 V8 under the hood; It even has working A/C (Still R-12) and a working light and siren!

    The small Maryland town that bought it new couldn't afford an ambulance, and this private funeral home was contracted with the town, so this hearse performed ambulance duties as well; When you think about it, even today, every ambulance ends up doing hearse duties several times during its service life...
