Does the catalytic do anything to suppress the noise from the motor? If not, why not weld a tube where the cat was?

Just a warning, those clips for the wiring through the tailgate can be a PAIN… I broke when when installing my kit. Couldn’t find an actual oem part for it. So I had to buy an aftermarket set that was like an additional $20. I didn’t do the “tape” marking when removing the original, but would suggest doing it to save your clips. They were the hardest part of the install.

Was looking at the sticker of a '22 at the lot and saw a black custom exhaust system addon for $799. I've never heard of the entire thing being black chrome, only the tip. I have to go and check this out some more.

Probably the TRD catback, but I wouldn't pay that much. Comes with a chrome or black chrome tip.

They're getting $499 for the TRD skid too. That thing is around half that off the shelf isn't it?

Thanks for the heads up. I've heard the clips were the hardest part of the install and I will do the tape marking.
    Cheers!

Thanks! I got it from Wrap Armor but apparently there’s a shortage of 3M vinyl so it took almost 2 months to get it.

First vinyl this big but not bad all in all. Recommend plenty of soapy water, good squeegee and heat gun… and may be beneficial to not do it mid day in the Cali sun!

Hahah! Any days a good day for Redwings…
