Hickory Leather Interior

If you want to swap door panel material try to find someone to do them in the same color from Katzkin in lieu of getting the OEM panels. Katzkin doesn't have a color match thats close to the factory color.

 

I think I'm done. I was going to do the door panels too but it took so long and was soooo expensive to get the other pieces done, I don't want to spend a shit ton more and have the aggravation of finding someone to do the doors. I think it looks pretty good the way it is. The brown is all down the middle. I put in brown Weathertechs and a brown dash mat too. I finally got the scoop marker lights I've been wanting to do forever installed and the Meso/Morimoto tails so other than possibly a new blacked out third brake light, the outside is pretty much done too. When I bought it, I figured I'd just do a few easy mods like tires/wheels, headlights and seat covers. Funny how it turned into way more than that. I blame this site.

 

I found hickory door panels from a member on the board. It is actually vinyl. I had the door panels wrapped in Ferrari Cuoio leather and am leaving the hickory vinyl. I’m keeping the pocket plastic, and I have the switches out getting done in carbon fiber. I will get to the steering wheel and boots in time.

 

Damn that looks good. Grrr! I don't want to do that, I don't want to do that, I don't want to do that...

 

I liked this look so much that I contacted Katzkin myself yesterday. They said they do not make a Hickory color. Is this Walnut or Mahogany?

 

I wouldn’t sweat the names. Just order some samples and see what you like. If they will sell you some extra yardage of leather you can have your installer put it on the door panel inserts for you.
