I'd like to follow that example. Finding the motivation is the big first step. We definitely have a lot of junk.

Sorta? I'd rather call it the almost perfect SR.

It took me a year to convince my wife. We pretty much got rid of everything. Pictures, tables, chairs, etc from 30 years of collecting. It was a huge step for us, knowing we were going to have to buy everything either new or from yard sales.
Three years later we have literally a fourth of what we once had and are loving the more utilitarian and simple life. We have the money to buy crap but we now know we are happier without it.

Yeah. I know where you are coming from. Most of our stuff is from misplaced desires. Could have done without most of it.

We basically did a life reset. We moved from snow to sun. We moved from a traditional many small rooms house to a modern open floor plan home. And we got rid of all our stuff and started over. A reset.

I would rather have a front locker than a rear locker if I could only choose one. I would love to have a rear locker, however, since my Sport doesn't have a rear locker. I debate installing front and rear lockers and lower gears would make sense while the diffs are pulled apart. My Taco has 70,000 on it now. Maybe I should trade it for a new model if I am going to do all of that. I've been able to go everywhere I have wanted so far so I really don't need all that. I do need to clean out the attic and take all those Tacoma parts to the recycle place. I am never going to put the stock bumpers, fog lights, valance, what ever else I have up there, back on my truck. Oh also the stock skid plates. Maybe I should shoot those with some different rifles, handguns, shotguns. That would be cool.

My wife and I did a whole reset... Not just Tacoma. Be brave! I know life is short and all the stuff I have will not go with me. At the end, you only have family, faith and friends. Not money or stuff.

Can’t believe the amount of people who own Off-Roads, around here I see more SR5’s and Sports than any other ones. Think I’ve seen one Pro in the last two years.

Off Roads are definitely the preferred flavor up here.

I would have taken a SR5, a Sport or an Offroad all in 4wd of course. It just so happened that the best deal was on the Off Road.
Lol I got the most stripped down Off Road they make! It's perfect for me.
Around here in South Carolina, the vast majority of Tacomas are 2WD SR5's and people use them as... trucks!

I had a 2003 SR5 double cab but wanted a long bed double cab, since they didn't make one back then I found the one I have now and swapped. I didn't care what model it was as long as it was a DCLB 4x4, wound up with a Sport with an XP package which is blacked out with Off Road wheels from the factory.
