Finally got the eag grille installed and wired up. Upgraded the rigid lights switch while I was at it. Next weekend, time to fix the overhead temp/compass... again.

IMG_5432.jpg IMG_5434.jpg IMG_5438.jpg After a zombie steel rod fell out of the sky and embedded in the front, I had a chance to make some cosmetic upgrades. Took the yellow highlight on the rims and used it for the grill, fog surround and rear bumper cover. Also had the fogs, grille marker, tailights and third light smoked. Had some fun with emblem overlays in the same yellow.

I’d have had to take the MA off all those Taco badges. Now all I’ll ever think of that as is “Taco Ma”. Not a bad color combo to me, reminds me of older aviation combos. Who’s the grill maker?

In this day and age, who knows lol.

Ironically I was just looking at their site the other day and wondered what that grill looked like! It’s pretty sharp for sure! I’m really torn though, I really like the stuff DB Custom Fab puts out also, and the price difference isn’t that far off.

My vote is grapplers, currently running them and they’re my favorite tire to date.

I second the ridge grappler vote, although all three you listed seem to be pretty popular around TW. I came from a MT tire to the ridge grapplers and it’s night and day difference as far as ride and noise.

Backup camera finally installed. What a pain. My wife rarely drives my Tacoma because she has trouble seeing behind her………….

I doubt she’ll be using it anytime soon.

I was given a electric brake controller so I wired that in. The harness and adapter were with the truck. That was simple with a little help from Tacomaworld and YouTube.

you are in CA. It is dry. I would never sell a good set of tires.
you could have a brand new $230 KO2 and all you’re gonna get is bullshitters offering $50 pissed it doesn’t have white lettering to show off a mediocre tire on their mediocre truck

    run them til they’re bald
Then try AT after maybe a bigger size.

    those are all good choices.
I’m currently “trying” wildpeak. Stuck with them for a while judging by how well they’re wearing/deep the tread is.

    set of tires is $1k+
You probably can’t even get half of that back trying to sell it “used” with tread at 10-14/32”

I can’t tell if it’s a prerunner. If it is, tire choice won’t matter

Is that an OEM grill or aftermarket? I am looking at the taco garage one... the 3rd gen grills have good reviews, but the only review on the 2nd gen doesn't seem promising.
