Has anyone ever had any issues with water ingress through top-facing rivets? I just installed the new Mamba III from OVS a few weeks ago.

They have a small rubber gasket between the shell and the rivet head, but I cant tell if the rivet hole itself (where the shank goes) it sealed or a normal open style rivet. Im actually less concerned with water itself, Im sure any leaks would be very small. Im more so thinking long term corrosion issues, especially with salt brine in the winter.

I was considering putting a little dab of polyurethane roof sealant on the rivet heads, not sure if thats overkill

Do the cab racks that have wind deflectors help reduce wind noise and improve gas mileage? I feel like a lot of wind is getting sucked between the camper and cab.

since putting on this martin off road rack (he has model’s for several different camper variations) i have found a bit of difference in regular driving - but it really helps in headwinds - where i am able to keep my normal mpg

Introducing the Enduro Camper's Lobo Wedge. This is one of the first wedges they made for production. I've spent 5 nights in it so far. I love how it looks on my truck! Overall I love it so far. It's cozy and warm. The material it's made of is itself insulation. I had ice on the roof the first morning after I slept in it, and there was no condensation of the ceiling (but there was some on the windows). It came with a 5" mattress which is comfortable, but does not allow me to keep my bedding with the top down. Enduro offered to replace the mattress with a 4 or 3 inch, and I may take them up on it when I'm back in their neighborhood.

The install went well, but since then I've taken it down some rough roads with deep potholes and a couple of stream crossings, and it has shifted a bit due to the flexing and impact. Some of the seals between the bed and camper slipped out of place and now it leaks (which from what I hear is not uncommon, especially in the front corners). The bummer is that I'm now 900 miles away and the only way to fix the seals is to lift the camper off the bed :(

Much more testing to be done, and lots to think about for the interior buildout, but have to seal the leaks first...

I have not noticed a considerable difference in wind noise(good or bad) with my Sherpa but as @d.shaw mentioned it has helped with headwinds by bridging that gap between roof and camper. Crosswinds not so much, it's still a sail.

Had some wet desert dirt this weekend and tried to cherish the 34* at night and be happy that it wasn't 90 during the day like it can be sometimes this time of year
