Is the light bar dual color or is that a trick of the lighting?

I was liking the idea of that specific size, off the back of my Super pacific camper.

It was somewhat annoying. The thing that takes the longest is getting the transponder out safely. Everything else is quick and simple. There are a couple of videos on how to do it. You will completely destroy your original case in the process. A heat gun would be helpful for breaking up the glue that holds it in place. Personally I was just very patient and sliced off a tiny portion around the transponder until there was enough of a gap to pop it out. If you mess up the transponder I think it can be really costly however.

Thanks! I use the Dometic hardwire kit as mentioned. Though there are definitely cheaper options like the NOCO. I ran the wire directly from the battery through the boot and then under the trim until it was in the rear seat. Then I followed the path of the rear floor mats to the center console and stuck it on with some heavy duty velcro. You can screw it in, but I didn't want to do that. Let me know if the explanation isn't clear and I can take some pictures later.

My good friend in high school had a 1st Gen. So many damn good memories in that thing. Love seeing one in great shape like that.

    Installed icon progressive AAL.

Doing a ripcord camper, so far just the shell portion installed and truck was riding pretty much on the overloads and would bottom easily. Nearing time to do add the wedge, and needed a little more capacity in the springs.

Pulled out the overload per the instructions. Had to grind one factory spring clip per side.

The ride is soooo much better. Truck is a little nose down raked, but will see how it settles with the wedge up there, may be some 5100s in the near future to level things out.

Do y'all think it's necessary to coat the frame with Fluid Film if I live down in Houston? I do frequent the beach so that was my concern regarding salt. I just don't know if it's necessary and wouldn't want to spend the $$ and time unless it was.

both of these red beauties really were amazing. Felt a little shy parking between them. Kinda like the ugly friend to a couple of super models. Kinda.

    1st oil change today.
    Still need to wash it.
Still don't have my wheels and tires yet.
Still thinking about getting a Victory bumper and sliders for it.

Unless you’re talking about the Built in LED running lights, you can buy lens covers and swap out the outboard ones and leave the center ones clear like I did. The amber running lights are standard on S8 bars. They are wired separate.

EDIT: The S8 lightbars are essentially 10” bars stacked next to each other. The 40” has four, the 30” has 3, etc. you can buy and swap lens covers (clear/amber and wide/spot/driving/combo/work/scene)
