I've had this issue ever since I got my Pixel Pro 6. Tried all the suggestions. At this point not holding out hope until either Google updates something or Toyota. I'm wondering if it isn't caused by Googles new implementation of the driving feature. My phone is always asking me if im driving. I've tried the driving mode to see if that helps. But wondering if poor implementation of this feature, Cuts it out to prevent distracted driving.

I tried this, along with all the other recommendations in this thread. No luck, still dropping calls. Any updates on this? Thanks.

Hi all. It seems my issue has been resolved with the March 2022 update - any others experience this? Thanks!

Just seeing this thread but bought the Pixel 6 when it was launched in November* since Verizon offered such a good deal it was a no brainer. Had no issues connecting to my tacoma(2021) but noticed my motorcycle Bluetooth no longer worked or connected on my Sena which is from 2017. Bought a new bluetooth for another helmet and connected just fine and works as it should.

Looks like it is still prevent, will try connecting to my old Bluetooth when i get home.

Anyone still having issues with the new Pixel update?

My issues returned. I thought the March 2022 resolved all of my issues, but my calls still drop periodically, and every time I hang up on a call my volume is lower.

Same here. This is making it pointless to use the factory radio when I can't use it for calls.

My truck was recently in the body shop for a while and I had two rental vehicles, a Nissan Altima and a Chevy Silverado. Both had buttery smooth Android Auto experiences. I was also recently issued an iPhone 13 for work and Apply Carplay was also smooth and lag free on my Tacoma. My verdict? Android Auto asks more of the head unit processing wise and our head units are trash. I am salty.

Same. The volume lower thing is new. You can clear it by just turning off the radio and then turning it back on. Still annoying though.

Same...pretty disappointing really but what can you do. At least there's no issues with playing music, that would be a much bigger issue for me.

Its kinda stupid especially if you know where you are traveling. But I have noticed if you turn the GPS on and leave the screen on the phone call does not get disconnected.
