Agreed. We're not the target market. Maybe someday, once the "new car every two years" market has been drained.

Yeah, certainly not designed in a way that would fit any of my interests or uses. I'm not sure I'd want to meet the person it's designed for. I'd still get one used one day when they're on version 47 or whatever and all the supporting services for this car have been dropped by the company because its out of date or whatever

 

Yeah that's a tougher one, generic electric car fast charging has a standard but availability is sort of pathetic. Unless you have a tesla it might be hard to find anywhere to plug in. But I suppose the argument here is that you should only ever have to charge at home mostly.

 

I suppose that's true if its a runaround town kind of thing, which is the most I'd get one for right now. It'd have to be a secondary vehicle for sure.
I don't know, the whole EV market doesn't excite me at all. Maybe one day.
In fantasyland, I can imagine integrated solar under the paint for on-the-go charging with no/much less need to worry about the next charge...I think things like that will be cool for certain uses. Long/remote travel, stuff like that. The idea of things breaking and needing repair is a big turn off. Also $$$
I remember seeing an article about Jeep installing charging stations along the Rubicon haha.

Been a crazy week, spent all day yesterday in court for that work thing I've mentioned a few times. Suffice to say, not a fun way to spend the day lol. Could get called back in any day through Friday so that's fun. Sorta putting off any birthday plans until after that blows over
