How long did you have to wait for your factory 2022 order/request/whatever it is called?

Truck was built on 04/20, status shows processing for rail depart no ETA on it yet.

I would say your dealer is lying to you as the current allocation list only show 41 M/T's out of 1,955 total trucks. not proof they they are ending production but those numbers are scary low.

Also, there is not a single dealer anywhere in the country that is getting 50 M/T's for the entire year, let alone the next 2 months. He is blowing smoke up your ass on that one for sure.

I have been saving the list from kiss my grits for the last few months and the numbers went (84 at the beginning of March) (62 beginning of April) and now (41 End of April)

 

Man I am so glad I secured min when I did.

 

The numbers I showed above are actually too high as a quick look revealed that there are quite a few overlapping vins from month to month. Even if the rumors are wrong, the numbers don't lie and getting a Tacoma in a M/T at this point is going to be like winning a small lottery. Less than 1 per state per month......

Idk why it seems so bad over there. At my local dealer they have been getting 4-10 MT trucks per month for the past 6 months.

I assume this is going to be the new Tacoma EV. Really kind of disappointed if that's the case because I would have hoped they would modify the front end to something similar of the tundra. I wonder if there's any other major changes in the new generation does it kind of looks the same

 

I've seen this on the internet also but pretty sure it's just an artist's rendition. It's suppose to look a little more like it's big brother.

 

Must be artists rendition because who would make a solid grill unless that's an EV in which case it's no longer a truck, just a square prius.

 

I picked up my Red TRD Off Road Manual Trans last Thursday, love it! The Vspec ETA was very accurate, but I ended up getting the call to get it two days after my 'end' eta date.

Regarding the discussion about Manual Transmissions, Toyota just sent me a survey to tell them about why I picked what I did. I was sure to comment in multiple places that one of the key reasons I picked the Tacoma over other options was the availability of a Manual Transmission. All I can do is hope that everyone else who waited and waited for a manual answer the survey the same way.

 

He just brought up a good point those numbers are also divided between Mexico the US Canada and I believe Costa Rica.
