maybe we should take turns driving the rental and keep it on the road non stop until OP has a resolution. Think we can put 50 k miles on it real fast ?

I think post #269 nailed it. Probably in line for the master tech to assess. I’m sure I’ll be getting some more advice from you guys after I get the response from the dealer. I completely agree with some previous posters that there’s a process they’ll go through and that could take a little time. It’s only been 2 business days since this happened.

That’d be 5 oil changes and 5 more chances to replicate my issue.

There's plenty of space available for the longer nipple. I took this pic today...with the TRD Skid circle opening in view:

Lol, simple solution, just tell them you didn’t dare take it in for oil change, they may run out of loaners.

Roger that. I simply wanted to inform many out there whom have great anxiety over any clearance issues these valves have.

Recommend you handle your own oil changes on the rental :)

There’s something for every taste. Large nipple, small nipple and even no nipple.

Apparently you have never worked in factory maintenance...
There are people out there who can break a good anvil with a plastic hammer. :frusty:

I purchased the Fumoto hose kit and wanted to make sure there was enough nipple to keep the hose from popping off.

Somehow, my explanation seems a bit rude...lol. Sorry about that.
