Sorry it has taken so long. With the design phase, the supply chain issues and quality control it did take longer than expected but we are finally here. Huge thanks to @Taco critter for the brilliant idea and for providing the motivation, @CttAznRanger the truck patch design, and @orezona for the other design as well as being the man behind the scenes using his time, resources, and contacts, and website to help bring this fulfillment.


The purchase link will only be available on TW and will not be open to the public for a period of 2 weeks. This will allow everyone on TW that wants to purchase the patches, Stickers, or virtual hugs will have this ability.


Rick/Unchained 5150 Memorial Patch & Sticker Cost and Donation Breakdown:

We first wanted to let everyone know that the following numbers are the actual amounts paid for the materials which went into getting the patches and decals made for Rick's family. These are not necessarily typical costs but no "margin" was added for the design work, setting up the site for the listing or anything else. It's strictly the amounts that include the manufacturing and delivery costs to make it possible for people to support Rick's family and also to have something to memorialize him by.


PRODUCTION COSTS & SALE PRICES

Patches

Patch wholesale cost (Red circle one):$2.27 with card
Patch wholesale cost (Truck Outline one):$2.27 with card
Patch sale price: $14


We ordered 100 of each and keeping 10 back for the family so we have 90 of each to sell, please keep that in mind when purchasing.


Stickers

Sticker wholesale cost: $0.52
Sticker sale cost: $3


200 of each ordered, assuming 20 of each being held back for family so 180 of each available)


Our cost total for all items made (split between @crashngiggles and @orezona): $600


SHIPPING
Shipping cost for each COMPLETE ORDER (Not each item): $4.25 (domestic US)
So if you buy 10 things, the shipping will still remain $4.25

Please Note: If you are international, please reach out individually and we will work things out. Shipping rates will be higher and need to be individually quoted. You can still purchase but we'll need to have you provide additional funds otherwise the order may not be able to be delivered.

"HOW MUCH HELP CAN THE FAMILY EXPECT FROM ALL THIS?"
The first thing is that the costs associated with this effort will be covered first, but everything after that is earmarked for Rick's family.
We do have to contend with the fact that to use this e-commerce platform, there is a fee which is:

% per transaction: 2.6% + $0.30


So for example if there is a "$10.00" transaction, Shopify takes 26 cents plus another 30 cents so in the end it's "$9.44" net after fees.


The funds will be transferred from the account which the sales is deposited in. Payment method matters here: If you pay via "Shop Pay", the funds take a few days to clear and end up in the store owner's bank. If you pay with PayPal the funds are immediately available. Ideally everyone would pay one way but it's understood not everyone has PayPal or knows how to use Shop Pay. All of the transactions will be monitored and recorded and proof of transfer of the funds will be provided once the sales part is completed. If funds are sent via PayPal, the transfer will be done so there are no additional fees.

For full transparency, The overall goal for ALL of this is to not "make" a single penny on any of this so all of the proceeds go to Ricks family. Covering the production costs is the only part besides transaction fees where the money paid will be deducted before getting to Rick's family. There are 600 total items (200 of each sticker and 100 of each patch). This is without a doubt a special case and something that multiple people came together on from the design, working with factory reps and vendors, taking the time to create a store listing and handling all the shipping and packing, plus overseeing all the funds getting funneled back to the family... It's a testament to the reality that TacomaWorld is a community and when stuff happens, we rally to help when it's needed.

By purchasing a sticker or a patch,, you're adding your own contribution to honoring Rick while also giving a little to help his family through this incredibly difficult time.
