I honestly feel like deleting a previous post from almost three months ago of the crap Tuffskinz overlay letters I stuck on my Pro Grill! Because I found this superior product on Etsy from our own TW member @tacos4cheap !!! Absolutely ❤️❤️❤️❤️ it!!!

What was wrong with the TS ones?

 

For my 2020 they stopped working when I turned them off permanently. Same with BSM and other nannies.

 

I thought the photos would speak for themselves. But I’ll explain.

The problem was that they were nothing like what I expected. I thought they would be bigger, especially since the accompanying photos made it appear they would be. And the letter Y was not cut correctly like the other letters. And they just didn’t really cover the grill letters as I expected they would.

They looked exactly as what they were: stickers. But $40 stickers!!

The replacements which literally just cost $5 more, were of far better quality. And his added touch of quality packaging and instructions were the icing on the cake.

Hopefully that gives you more context.

 

Ah yeah zooming in I see what you mean, thought they had engulfed the grey portion but it’s just a sticker on top. thanks!

 

Any of you guys have any idea why all of a sudden my bed lights stay on. The truck came with them when I bought it new. Went to settings and set all lights go out after 30 sec. I don't want to unplug the battery.
Damn, if I take it to the Dealer they will work just fine.

 

Is the white light in the high mount third brake light also on? I'd first check the switch to the left side of the steering column.

 

the “bed light” button on? Buttons Left of the steering column. Looks like a truck with a light shining on the bed.

 

Feel like I can finally share since I have my truck where I'm enjoying it more than ever. Nothing compared to many of the amazing builds on here, but it's mine.

So today, it got a wash. Everything else was over the course of the last year or so after driving it stock since new; the majority of changes occurring in the last month.

Hey all. I recently traded my 16 Taco for a slightly used 21 T4R TRD Offroad Premium. Loved my Taco but got a helluva trade in offer and couldn't pass up the opportunity.

I've absolutely loved my time here. But have moved over to 4Runners.com using same handle.

Here's the new ride:




First mods were OEM all weather mats and some @MESO interior lights.

But anywho, it's was fun here. But prob find me down the rabbit hole at 4RUNNERS.COM lol.

 

Nice! I assume you have a regular head unit, and not JBL? Also, the black SR ring around the grill would look sweet! Something like this.

 

Dang Jason gonna miss you here but congrats on the new T4R! You should post here every now and then for fun.

 

Added rotopax / fishbone rail mounts for two 3 gal gas cans. Looks like it’ll be a good fit. Everything seems really good quality (gas cans, hardware etc). Probably will only put tanks on when in use but the mounts don’t take up much space.

 

I’ve got the Tuffskinz ones and I like them for now. But good to know there’s another option now!

Bruh, these ones from @tacos4cheap will blow your mind! The difference is night and day difference. I highly recommend them! I love that they are actual caps over the letters! And he color matches!!!! I think he had Lunar Rock available. They go fast though!
