    It was always fun driving a squarebody with a bench seat and an sm465. That poor sap in the middle always got a shifter to the groin when backing up.

    Apart from the (I assume) comically long shift trow, a squarebody sounds easy in comparison. That bench seat must be a foot wider than a Tacoma's. Am I imagining things, or did some of them come with four seat belts?

    The first time I tried it in the Tacoma I thought the person in the middle might have to work the gas pedal, too.

    It wasn't so much the throw, but the fact that the shifter had a bend in it that put reverse right in the middle

    That one only had 3 seatbelts, but 4 was probably doable.

    My 4 runner with a bare steel roof that I never got around to priming that just got rained on as my tundras bumper needs to be painted from the inside and airbags installed

    There's plenty more to do with both of them... But we do one thing at a time
