So confused.....That seat leather looks aftermarket. The PRO/ Limited / and TRD's with leather all look like this:

Its almost knobby. Yours looks aftermarket/smooth. Is there anything listed as dealer installed options or port installed options on our spec sheet?

I think that actually looks good. It breaks up the all black theme. I would consider if it's too much red for you having the door cards changed out to black by some local upholstery shop. I do like how the red stitches on the seats look.

It's way nicer than what my Cement SR5 came with. While I love the exterior color the a inside was a see of Grey.
I got neoprene seat covers in black with a Grey insert to break it up and covered up all the chrome with stuff from AJT designs.

I would have liked "Quicksand" stitching on mine; but not an option at that time...

FWIW: on a $100k+ Porsche "Deviated Stitching Interior Package" is a $5,010 up-charge; so maybe think of it as a free upgraded?

Porsche guy here. Take the “free” $6k upgrade and run.

I have had lots of custom upholstery work done for car projects over the years and with few exceptions always select a contrast stitch.

live with it for a while !

If you really don't like it, once you hit 50 posts go to the B/S/T thread and see if someone in your area wants to swap door panels and trim. There's a lot of people who want what you got but upholstery is pricey for them to get it done.

    Here is mine:

My truck was not an order, but rather one I was offered. It's grown on me, but had I ordered I probably would have gone with the grey. My daughter on the other hand, thinks its great.

Agreed, my Cayman had a contrast stitch and when I traded it, the dealers commented that they knew specific buyers that would "be looking for this".

My Tacoma with the red contrast has grown on me, but initially it was the one thing I was on the fence about.

I'd like to see your neoprene covers. I'm looking for something to protect my cloth but I'm particular about fitment and a generic cover that is bunched up or looks like a cover isn't going to cut it.

They were coverking ordered from auto anything dot com. They were custom made to fit the Tacoma.
I’ll take some more pics but if you search I posted some in other threads

I appreciate the condescension, it's very helpful. But we're not talking about the last chocolate bar on the shelf. The dealer doesn't give a shit about you. This is a $40k+ vehicle and you just shut up and take it even though you don't really like it? Not me, man.

Hey look at it from a recent experience with ordering a new phone from Samsung. They included a pair of free wireless earbuds with the purchase and allowed me to choose the color of them. I choose black, white arrived in the box. I didn't get what I wanted so even though it was free I didn't shut up and accept it. I called got them sent back and a new set sent out.
Of course that cost me two weeks of not being able to enjoy them.

I'd say if the OP dislikes it so much that he is willing to wait for another truck he should. Only he can answer that. I'd keep it as is because I would not want to wait 8 more months for a truck.

I can see why you would want to switch it out. It won't be easy or cheap, though.

The red stitch seats look awesome!
The bright red trim on the dash above the glove box is rather “loud”. I bet the dealer could easily replace this one trim piece with black or grey and significantly “tone down” this interior to something the OP would be glad he owned.

I just couldn't deal with the red accent any more . Finally after months of research, and even trying myself ( Absolute failure). I went out and got a couple estimates from different shops. They dyed it matching black today and came with a lifetime warranty. I have to give the shout out to Atomic interiors in Middlefield CT for their work
