Yeah, noticed that last night on my search for skinnies. I also use Wildpeak ATs but 265/75/16.

Anyone use Geolander MT-G003's? Seen this dude on the other forums in 255/85/16's. Wonder how they are.

i was looking at @TacoPandaTRD s wheels and i like the Skinny ST Maxxes. Sure having super wide like a 305 would be neat (ok more 285s if anything) , but the 255 is what i'm familiar with on the trails now.
upsizing rim since it's easier to find 17s now-a-days compared to the 16s.

No idea about the Geolanders but i do have 255/85/16 ST MAXXes. they float really nicely and is basically cheating on the trails. they held up at quinn lake at 18PSI. at 15 PSI it's like driving on a cloud

    Properly?
    Big brakes and bigger booster/master?

think I’m 1k into oem brakes and I’ll be about 1k into a tundra booster/master setup. Maybe $500-1k in misc stuff? Sound about right?

That would probably work for your SR5. TRD OR with the electronic booster doesn't have an upsizing path. "Properly" means $3000 on the StopTech TR340 kit with calipers sized for the stock MC/booster: https://sosperformance.com/products...-brake-kit-fits-17-plus-wheels-2005-21-tacoma

I’m assuming the booster and master work better on the third. I find the 2nd gen doesn’t have enough pressure throughout the stroke and even with the bigger brakes you have to go to the floor

There's a mechanical vacuum pump on 3rd gen. Not sure if it makes the vacuum booster work better than 2nd gen's.

The OR's electronic booster greatly reduces pedal effort, but I'm noticing with the larger 4Runner calipers the electric pressure pump runs more often. It probably shortens the pump life significantly, but I have no way to quantify or predict it.

how much of an improvement in braking power are you getting with the 4Runner parts? worth doing?

It's worth doing with 35s in my opinion, restores braking power closer to where I was with 32s.
