Good race. Caught the first 30 laps, did some chores, napped through the middle, and caught the final 30 laps. Happy to see a Superspeedway race without a GWC. I was really rooting for the 43 there. He got too far out there in Turn 4. Dover is next! Some say it is possibly the last Dover race. SMI (Bruton Smith) bought it like he did North Wilkesboro and other tracks, only to close them and move the race dates. Looks like they're trying to move that date to Nashville and possibly Nashville Fairgrounds.

    Neat notes from 'Dega:
    • Jones didn't change left side tires all day. Dude qualified and drove 505.4 total miles on the same set of left sides!
    • Stage three was completely green. No cautions to bunch them up and with only 25 cars on the lead lap at the end, we still had an exciting finish.
    • Trackhouse has two wins this season. 23Xl has zero. I figured it would've been the other way around.
    • Both 23xl cars were set to have good finishes. Busch likely could've won if not for Larson clearing himself too late with that block. Bubba would've had a top ten.
    • This is the second time Larson has cleaned out the top line this season (the first was teammate Elliott at California), and the fourth time he's wadded up other team's cars this year (Ty Dillon at the Clash, Elliott at California, several guys at COTA, and now everybody else at Talladega).

You guys might dig this. I did not like the upper cabinet (work surface up) on my workbench. Long story short, I found a 1967 hood and made something I think is cool. This was my weekend while watching/listening to the races.

Yeah, I love doing stuff like this. This hood was a 1967 C10. I had to section and narrow it 15” because of my space constraints so I took 7.5” out of each side. I ended up having enough metal to cut the inner structure out and sheet the frame. I am happy with how it turned out.

I agree. NASCAR probably worried about people getting butt hurt.

Also, as an owner, Hamlin should be better than this! I understand it cost his team a possible win but zip it!

I mean they can say it's a "stereotype" but if I am not mistaken Asians and traffic accidents is more of a factual statistic. Oh well, I think it is funny that the clip was on network TV 5 years ago but now it is banned. How far we have fallen. I would hate to be a comic these days.
