Big time kudos to RaceFace for providing some support for a product out of warranty for close to 4 years.

I was running an original Next SL crank and I started to develop some movement at the point where the carbon arm bonds to the aluminum insert which mates to the spindle (too many watts, I presume). I sent a video to RaceFace and they hooked me up with a considerable discount for a new crankset. I wasn't expecting much, but sometimes it is worth to reach out and see that these companies can do for you. Now I can continue to use my CINCH spindle PM.

I’m learning to use clips, I’m straight up falling over while attached to the bike. I feel there’s a valid loophole with this one

Just got back from an awesome week of riding in Bentonville/Roger/Ponca and only "waded up" once.. Then put the bikes on our 1up and proceeded to drive back home to Texas.. Where I found that my wife's pedal had been contacting my bikes frame. :annoyed:

    what bike are you rebuilding?

but also, yes. ridewrap definitely has you "covered". hahah. I forgot to mention, the ridewrap sounds spendy but I think ti's fairly well priced. It saves you the trouble of trying to cut out all the odd angles and curves with a custom wrap job.

yea, I wouldn't consider this falling "off" your bike since you're still attached to it.

The slow motion timber. My first season with clipless as well and have had a few panic moments where there is nothing I can do other than commit to the fall and hope it isn't too bad.

yep, gotta go down with the ship right haha. I've sent the body (wadded it up) way too many times in the last year and a half going 1 mph on tech climbs. But for as many times as I have dumped it, there have been tons of graceful saves and climbs I have powered up due to being clipped

The last time, I was in Prescott I tipped over 5 times on the same ride and finally figured out that my cleat was just loose. Sucks to suck sometimes.

That's the worst, when you go to clip out and you at best get the loose cleat wiggle. At worst, your foot doesn't unlock at all and then Happy Birthday to the Ground! Then you have to make your buddy go find a stick to pry you out of your pedal
