How long did you have to wait for your factory 2022 order/request/whatever it is called?

A DCLB Pro? That I gotta see, and want!!

 

I didnt think they existed due the stamped bed. It would require completely different tooling to make a very limited number

 

You can build a double-cab, 6-ft bed on Toyota's website...and several dealers in my area have had them the past few months.

EDIT: Apparently, we're talking TRD Pro's here...which are double-cab, 5-ft bed only.

 

those aren't vary rare, there are a bunch on the spreadsheet right now.

 

TRD PRO's are only available on Double Cab short bed, 2015 had the access cab PRO's the last year of the 2nd Gen.

Got one on allocation. It’s official. Should get delivery around mid to late June.

Yes production is going to ramp up for all manufacturers going into 2nd half of 2022…. The days of shortages will come to an end thankfully

That is the time when your dealer can make changes to your truck build except color, tranny and bed length. There may be a few more items that cannot change. My dealer wrote down everything I wanted. Next day I received my temp VIN with all the adds that I requested. Call your dealer now to be sure they have enough time to do it.

 

Just placed an order for a DCSB 4WD OR AUTO with premium OR, TP and LED headlights. Told dealer silver or white. The wait begins…

 

I think your best option here would be to just buy it from the dealer instead of trying to get it allocated to your existing build. I don't believe Toyota does requests/specific customer builds. But dealers can order parts. Might be able to make a deal w/ them...or just buy one yourself after you get the truck.

A weird thing happened today, checked my VSPEC , like one waiting for a Taco does, and noticed the ETA disappeared, it had been showing F for about 2 weeks now with an ETA of 5/6-5/11, I wonder if this means its getting on a truck, hopefully, no delay....

 

Within 30 days of my April 1st "order request" looks like I actually secured an allocation for everything I wanted plus a little extra. My salesman called me today to inform me of the allocation, I agreed, he marked it as "sold", and said it should be in about 30 days from now and sent me the Vspec PDF of my Taco. 2022 TRD Offroad DCSB V6 4x4, Lunar Rock, MANUAL TRANSMISSION...woohoo!!
**Extra crap I don't need but won't complain about: Premium Package (moonroof/heated seats/leather trim/etc), LED headlights & fog lights, bed lighting kit, bed mat, mudguards, all weather floor liners & sill protectors.
