i have a 2006 access cab prerunner with a 6” lift if that matters and 162,000 on the dash. I’ve tried to look for a forum for this problem but none of them matched up with what’s happening to my taco. When i push the brake pedal it has a clicking noise. not just one click, the further i press in the brake it sounds like 4 clicks till a compete stop at any speed. How do i get rid of this noise? i replaced the brakes pads about 15k miles ago.

Have you had your rear shoes adjusted?

Is your parking brake partially engaged?
