-AZ has smog as do certain other states, which does not pertain to your Tacoma; it is not a tuner car with stage 1+ tune bigger injectors high flow cat

But…
1.) running no front plate doesn’t make it legal
2.) smog laws are much less strict in AZ

 

Not fully correct...

-Both CA and AZ have smog AND smog-free zones, AZ is big counties like Tucson and Phoenix that require smog testing, smaller counties do not. CA mostly requires smog while only some rural counties do not, such as Anza-Borrego, Julian, etc.

-In CA if you are issued two plates, legally you have to run two plates, however cops have gotten away from ticketing everyone who doesnt have a front plate, similar to how cops have become more lenient with window tint tickets.

Granted these aren't tuner cars, however since CA has gotten more strict, I have had more issues getting mine smogged, even at the same place. Despite having a CARB sticker for my intake, they claimed it was an ebay one based on looks vs current pic on the companies website, so since the intake is 12+ years old as has changed colors of the silicone clamps, they wanted to fail me. Luckily the tech who had done it previously interjected when I was pushing back and told him that it was in fact legal.

Not trying to piss anyone off, just putting the info out there!

 

Anyone know of places that are hiring project/program managers? Looking to get out of the defense industry and hopefully find something a little more california/hippy lifestyle (green energy, conservation, etc.)

What is a 'Taylor Tune' and how much does it cost?

 

The 2nd gens run $600 on up. The power gains on this is crazy good.

Yup!

That low end on the 4.0 after we get our hands on it is $$$, and the power and is increased the whole way through and most of our guys are reporting better MPGs

I'd be curious to see the fuel map, when I was working for Godspeed Dynoworks I was usually able to pull fuel from the stock map on order to increase fuel efficiency as well as add power.
A lot of people don't realize that most cars run a little rich in order to keep the engine safe and use the Catalyst to burn off any extra unburnt fuel.
