My second set of Amazon hood latches seized up again after a year, so I decided to get the real deal Quik-Latch P/N QL-25-303 in 303 stainless steel.

did you end up using the same Amazoom post from the old set or did you also replace that?

 

The Quik Latch SKU came with short 2" pins. I kept the long pins from the Amazon kit, rather than spending $20+ on another set of Quik Latch 4" pins.

Disclaimer: that may or may not be my tail light. there is no definitive resultants that can come from this image that indicates that i may have smashed by rear tail light, which i may have certainly not or have but that is unknown and cannot be confirmed by the single photo posted at hand. this could be any Cement taco that happened to have the red lens
