    My trucking manager had to be restrained by the police yesterday. He had a blood sugar crash and my wife (she is the trucking coordinator) called the ambulance. He was not in his right mind (blood sugar was 18!) and fought the EMT's, so they called the cops. it took 4 cops to restrain him, handcuffed to the gurney before they could treat him and take him to hospital.

    He's back at work today and very embarrassed.

    He's usually very good about managing his blood sugar, he has one of those meters that he scans with his phone and it would normally alert him when he's crashing, but the meter wasn't working right. So he crashed and wouldn't cooperate with anyone and became violent.

    I told my wife to just shoot him next time this happens.
